CBGL, Inc. is a New York-based distribution and brand management agency. We represent French independent beauty brands in the US and Canadian markets — end to end.
After nearly two decades helping French companies grow in the United States, I kept seeing the same thing: exceptional independent beauty brands with remarkable products but no practical path to building a sustainable American business. CBGL was created to change that.
Christophe Beguel has spent the past seventeen years helping French companies establish and grow their business in the United States.
Throughout his career, he has worked across business development, retail expansion and commercial operations, partnering with French beauty, fragrance and luxury brands on their U.S. market entry—from store roll-outs and merchandising to wholesale development and operational execution.
Those experiences shaped the vision behind CBGL: a company that goes beyond traditional distribution by acting as an operational partner for independent French beauty brands. Today, CBGL combines wholesale sales, e-commerce, marketing, PR and logistics under one roof, helping brands build a lasting presence in the American market.

We take on a small number of brands and grow each one properly. No holding company, no 50-brand catalogue — each maison we represent gets our full attention.
